Mission Statement
At Rock My Floor, our mission is to honor God by serving others—transforming concrete spaces with excellence, integrity, and hard work. As two brothers committed to doing things the right way, we treat every customer like family and strive to build relationships that last far beyond the job.
Our Story
Rock My Floor is a locally owned concrete coatings company co-owned by brothers Jacob and Zac Velthouse. The journey began when Jacob took over the business. At the time, he was working a desk job but knew his heart wasn’t in it. He had always loved working with his hands and taking something old or worn-out and turning it into something sharp and clean.
With a leap of faith and a lot of drive, Jacob stepped into business ownership—and the Lord quickly opened doors. The business had grown to the point where he couldn’t do it alone. That’s when Zac, fresh out of Grand Canyon University, joined him full time. The brothers became 50/50 partners and haven’t looked back since.
Both Jacob and Zac are graduates of Unity Christian High School and currently live in Hudsonville, MI. Together, they serve homeowners and businesses across West Michigan, transforming garages, patios, basements, and more with craftsmanship and care. Their goal isn’t just to install great floors—it’s to serve people well, do honest work, and build something that reflects the values they stand on.
When they’re not working, you’ll find them golfing, skiing, hanging out with family and friends, or enjoying just about anything outdoors in God’s creation.
